We are mothers and we are sisters. Like many sisters and girlfriends, we have spent endless hours on the phone discussing everything from diaper rash, poop (or lack of), teething and time-outs to the perils and pitfalls of pantyhose and periods. It is understandable that we would eventually exhaust even ourselves with these daily discussions.

It has been a dream of ours to own a business together and turn all that talk into something productive. Pregnancy, childbirth and child rearing is our gig. We know that in these three arenas, you can acquire a lot of unnecessary baggage. We are not talking about the children here, but rather all the "stuff" they come needing. Of course with each of our firsts, we had all the latest and greatest known to man (okay, woman). After that we became experts in knowing what was useful and what just took up space. By our seconds (second and third for one of us - twins - born to the organized sister!) we happily reduced to the absolute essentials. With this concept in mind, Posh Baby Baskets was "born"!

Though we cannot simplify motherhood for you, we promise to provide you with only what is necessary for your pregnancy; labor and hospital stay; and the baby days ahead.
